The first year goes faster than anyone tells you. One day you are holding a brand-new baby who still smells like the hospital, and the next you are watching them smash a birthday cake. The Baby's First Year package was created so you can document as much or as little of it as you want, at a bundled rate that makes it easier to say yes to more than one session.
Choose any two to five sessions and customize the combination that works best for your family. Sessions can take place in my Raleigh studio, in your home, or outdoors depending on the session type.

The most popular package includes four sessions covering the full arc of the first year. You can also customize your package to include any combination of two to five sessions.
01.
Maternity
The anticipation, the bump, the quiet before everything changes. Maternity sessions can take place in the studio or outdoors, and are best scheduled between 28 and 36 weeks.
02.
Newborn
Those first tiny details that disappear so quickly. Generally scheduled around 2-3 weeks after birth and can take place in your home or in the studio. Up to two hours.
Sitter
03.
Around 6 to 8 months, babies sit up and their whole personality comes into focus. This studio milestone session captures the stage right before everything starts moving very fast.
04.
1st Birthday
One whole year. First birthday sessions are held in the studio and can include a cake smash, just bring a cake and we will do the rest, or keep it simple and sweet without one.

Ahead of each session you will receive a style guide specific to that session type, along with any preparation tips. We will connect about timing, location, and any other questions you have.
Before each session

After each session, you will choose a collection to purchase your images after seeing the final edited gallery. Collections are selected separately per session so you can choose based on what you love from each milestone.

The more sessions you bundle, the more you save. Session fees are due upfront at the time of booking. After each session, you will choose a collection separately to purchase your images.

You will have 48 hours to choose and purchase a collection, and once you do, you will have 30 days to download your images and use your print credit toward any products in the gallery store. Collections are purchased separately for each session so you can choose based on what you love from each milestone.
What's a print credit?
Your print credit is included with your collection and can be applied toward any keepsake product, including albums, custom birth announcements, framed prints, and more.
Session fees are due upfront at the time of booking and are separate from your collection purchases.

The Baby's First Year option allows you to plan multiple sessions together, offering continuity, flexibility, and preferred pricing for families who want a thoughtful approach to documenting this time.
Every session in the package is photographed with the same warm, timeless aesthetic so your galleries look cohesive from the very first image to the last.

When should I book my package?
The earlier the better, especially if you want a maternity session included. Booking during pregnancy gives us the most flexibility to schedule around your due date and lock in newborn availability. That said, you can book the package at any stage, even if your baby is already here.
Where do sessions take place?
All sessions can take place in your home, the Worth Capturing studio, or an outdoor location in Raleigh. We will talk through the best option for each session when we plan your package.
Can I customize which sessions are included?
The package is designed to be flexible. You choose any combination of two to five sessions based on what matters most to your family. The most popular combination is four sessions covering maternity, newborn, sitter, and first birthday, but there is no required lineup.
How do collections work with a package?
Your session fees cover the sessions themselves. After each one, you will receive a gallery of beautifully edited images and have 48 hours to choose and purchase a collection. This means you can decide how many files you want based on what you love from that individual session. Once your collection is purchased, you will have 30 days to download your images and use your print credit toward any products in the gallery store.
