Welcoming a new baby into your family is SO exciting, whether it’s your first or 3rd, 4th, etc. Every baby is so unique and I think it is incredibly important to make sure that you are documenting this amazing time both for you, your child, and future generations. Since I offer maternity, newborn, baby milestone, and family photography, I feel like I have the perfect opportunity to create beautiful images from pregnancy announcement/maternity through baby’s first birthday and beyond! Getting to work together for multiple sessions means we’ll get to spend lots of time together and become really comfortable around each other. For clients who book me for a maternity session, it’s a great opportunity to get to know each other prior to the newborn session. I put a lot of effort into making clients feel comfortable during any photo session, but the more we work together that becomes!

This can be especially helpful when children are involved. Babies and kids can sometimes be very shy around strangers, so becoming a familiar face to them can make a HUGE difference in how they feel and behave at sessions. If your kids work with me for multiple sessions over the years, we really get to become close and it’s so fun! I also get really invested in your families and absolutely love watching your babies grow.

2. Save on session fees with a Baby’s First Year Package

Professional photography isn’t cheap (nor should it be) but with a Baby’s First Year Package you get the added bonus of saving on your session fees. The more sessions you book, the more you save! If it were up to me, every maternity/newborn client would book a four session package. This would include a maternity session, a newborn session, a 6 month/sitter session, and a 1 year session. With this package you save hundreds of dollars over what you’d spend booking those individually, so it really is a great deal!

Also, if you didn’t hire me for maternity or newborn photography and still want to work together for multiple sessions with in a year that is GREAT! This package can work for any family who wants to document important milestones, even if I wasn’t there from the start.

3. Your child’s first year, documented with beautiful images

I think this is probably the biggest reason to book a Baby’s First Year package – telling your family’s story. Getting to document these precious moments as your family grows is truly invaluable. Babies grow up SO fast and there is no getting the time back. They are only little for a very short period so trust me on this, take the photos! Can it be stressful to coordinate? Yes. Is it 1,000% worth it? Yes, and I’ll be there to help along the way as much as I possibly can.

I have worked with many families through these stages and I’m fairly certain that every single one of them will reiterate these points. Babies just don’t keep!
