Raleigh Studio Photographer | Esme’s First Birthday Session
When it came time to celebrate Esme’s first birthday, I was so excited that Mom reached out to document it with a studio photography session! I had the honor of capturing Esme as a newborn, and again at 7 months old – so I knew I was going to be in for a treat with her studio photos. She is a sweet, beautiful, and super smiley little lady!
I was so thrilled that she let Mom put this adorable headband on her because it was just so perfect with her precious strawberry blonde hair. Can you even believe how adorable her grin is? This was one of the first photos I took in the session!
I absolutely loved the little white ruffled romper that mom brought for her to wear. White is always classic, always in style, and just photographs so beautifully. Most of the outfits that I provide for clients to borrow are white for this very reason!
Raleigh Studio Photographer | Why I love this age
I think this next photo gives some great support to why I love photographing babies at this age. When they’re sitting up and crawling (6-12 months) they are just so sweet, silly, and playful! It’s usually really easy for me to get them to warm up by just sitting on the floor with them and bringing out some simple wooden toys. Once they get used to me it’s all fun & silliness leading to beautiful & joyful photos!

There is nothing fancy or complicated about my studio sessions. We play, we have fun, and we get beautiful photos that truly capture your baby’s personality!
