Raleigh Baby Photography | Scout’s Birthday Session
Being a photographer focusing on baby photography in Raleigh, North Carolina has got to be one of the most fun and fulfilling jobs out there. I get to follow along with couples as they celebrate bringing a new baby into their lives, and then photograph their children as they grow!
I have had the pleasure of photographing this spunky little lady from her parents’ maternity session, then newborn, and now celebrating her first birthday.
As you can see, this little lady came ready to celebrate!
Baby Photography | Heirloom Portraits
We started the session by taking some heirloom portraits. Mom brought out this little bonnet and I almost died when I saw how adorable she looked in it. I have never incorporated this type of bonnet into a baby session but I think it’s got to be one of the sweetest things I’ve ever seen.
Simple Baby Photography
After capturing her heirloom portrait photos, we moved into the “simple baby” portion of her session. I had to start with getting a few shots of her whole little bonnet outfit. This image ended up being one of my favorites!
Isn’t she such a beautiful little girl? Her little curls are precious!
Scout’s Birthday Outfit
Scout’s next outfit was this adorable tutu ensemble. I loved how Scout didn’t mind the outfit changes at all – she loves to play dress up!
My personal favorite outfit for babies? A diaper cover!
I always love when parents are excited to get photos of their baby in just a diaper cover. Their little wrist rolls, chubby feet, and chunky thighs are the best! I have a variety of diaper covers in the studio for clients to borrow if they’d like!

All in all, this was such a fun session and I had a blast showcasing this little lady’s spunky personality!
